Listen. I get it. I’m not happy about war in Iran either, especially when we have serious problems here at home that still need attention. But people keep asking what it takes for someone like Trump, who campaigned so strongly against Middle East wars, to shift his position like this. Maybe we should at least pause and consider that there could be reasons we’re not seeing. He knows this is unpopular. He knows the history. He’s been openly critical of leaders like Bush and what those wars became. I don’t think he wants to be remembered the same way. So before we jump straight to outrage, can we just take a second, tune out the noise, and consider that there may be more behind the decision than what we’re immediately reacting to?
