@learning_yohei If it is in passing, you can just nod and say "How are you?" back and is basically the same as saying "hello." If you are starting an actual conversation with someone and they say that then you should actually give an answer to it and ask it back.

@LoserCeeVA @soleheartattack @DotoDoya Tbf, it is pretty close in terms of popularity if you go by the most recent poll. On that most recent popularity poll Raditz was ranked right under Videl, #20 & #21 respectively. (But in my head he is higher.)

@soleheartattack @Introgert @DotoDoya they're not big sellers, but they're not small fries either. they're characters that still show up, still receive merchandise, and have way more fans than raditz. i do agree that animations would sell him, but that requires arcsys to see raditz as worth making to begin with

@ohtori_bigbird @kamipapa2 We also have something called a "Root Beer Float" which is root beer and a couple scoops of vanilla ice cream in it. Do you guys ever do this in Japan?

@ohtori_bigbird @kamipapa2 Actually root beer is enjoyed here as well, though not as much as the leading soda brands. We have popular root beer brands such as Barq's and A&W. In fact, we even have restaurants themed around root beer like the previously mentioned A&W, and my personal favorite, Stewart's!

@ohtori_bigbird @kamipapa2 This map is showing the most popular brands of soda in the US, though I personally don't think it is very accurate. If this was just a map for just "cola", you would most likely only see Coke, Pepsi, and Dr. Pepper listed.

@hideaki_utsumi I would not call tofu necessarily unpopular, it is certainly popular with vegetarians and vegans, but otherwise definitely not as commonly eaten here. That is really the only reason I can think of for Donbei not really being sold here. It looks good though, I'll have to try it!

@hideaki_utsumi Udon is fairly popular here! We have brands of instant udon as well as options from restaurants. It could be the block of fried tofu (I think?) that comes with Donbei noodles that is unpopular. We have tofu but it's not such a staple food here like it is in other countries.

The reason I don't bring my "whole self" to work is because it's work. My colleagues are not my friends and we have a relationship based on mutual respect and decorum. Why would you want to express you "whole self" at work; you're working. Grow up y'all.
