@Draigahan @GR1FF1NONE @NeoRothbardian That's why you're supposed to hold them accountable, I'm all for being harsher on politicians. On corruption: it can take many forms and wont disappear because you switch power from governments to megacorps, read some sci fi.

@Inu_Loki @GR1FF1NONE @NeoRothbardian Yes, corruption doesn't extinguish, but the difference is who pays the bill, in the government corruption is paid by taxpayers, while in the private sector corruption is paid by the owner, this fact discourages corruption for the mere fact that losses fall into the owner's pocket

@Draigahan @GR1FF1NONE @NeoRothbardian That's kinda the problem, the more you push for private healthcare, the worst public healthcare will get as a result. You said yourself a balance was more suitable for actual healthcare.

@Draigahan @GR1FF1NONE @NeoRothbardian Corruption can happen regardless, libertarianism doesnt solve the problem of human greed, quite the contrary. That would be an anarchist utopia, aka a commune, complete autarcy of everyone (so no corruption possible)

@Inu_Loki @GR1FF1NONE @NeoRothbardian The point we liberals do is that the biggest a State becomes the most incentives people with wrong morals has to try and corrupt it, you can have a big and efficient gobernment, but you can't expect selfish people to try and joins in in order to gain power for themself.

@Draigahan @GR1FF1NONE @NeoRothbardian Public healthcare doesnt deny anyone care. Missmanagment and inefficiency happens in both cases. And a fully public owned healthcare can absolutely work.

@Inu_Loki @GR1FF1NONE @NeoRothbardian While public healthcare often comes with missmanagment and inefficiency due to lack of incentives. A mixed system that provides both of them to the lowest strata of society should be the best option, but never a fully public owned service will fulfill the needs of a society.

@Draigahan @GR1FF1NONE @NeoRothbardian The paradox with indoctrination by education is that you will end up in Orwell's 1984 with double think, people who have a facade for the regime yet enoug knowledge to see the lies. And we could talk about when it was done right and proved to be be better & cheaper than private.

@Inu_Loki @GR1FF1NONE @NeoRothbardian When you let the State manage education that can lead to a big indoctrination problem, just like the Nazi leader Juan Domingo Perón did during his presidency here in Argentina.

@Inu_Loki @GR1FF1NONE @NeoRothbardian You're mixing minarquism with anarcho capitalism, we minarquists believe that a State has 3 fundamentals jobs: security, justice and defense, anything besides that can be provided and improved by the private sector. Thanks for confirming your lack of understanding on liberalism.

@Draigahan @GR1FF1NONE @NeoRothbardian There's no real police in libertarianism, and no clear morality either. No one to enforce the NAP, so good luck hoping the other guy wont infringe when there's no consequences.

@Inu_Loki @GR1FF1NONE @NeoRothbardian NAP is reinforced based in the morality of the individuals, when someone breaks it is when police steps in and the law condems them. The whole point of liberalism is to create a society based on high trust and morals.
