The flurry of punches at the beginning of the sequence is called fanzi fist/ 翻子拳 - it’s Jet Li’s “home style” but he rarely shows it off in movies because HK choreographers were incurious of these styles until much later. I wish Jet was in The Grandmaster.would’ve been so sick

hot take but this is probably bis best performance as Anakin. i’m excited for Ahsoka s2 just to see him act again because i was genuinely impressed.
plus his ability with a lightsaber is just 🔥

Despite some major narrative/tonal and stylistic shortcomings, most of which are first time director missteps, I enjoyed "Timur", which if for nothing else provides a good showcase of Iko's martial arts prowess and a promise of even better productions down the road 🔥🔪👊😮
