@LalitaAmazing @KrisVanD2 @McLarenF1 You missed the entire point. Had Senna lived he would like likely still been there in 1996.
English

Actually,Ayrton Senna was keen on using the Lamborghini engines for the remaining two or three races in 1993.
McLaren tested the Lamborghini engine with a special modified McLaren MP4/8B,at Silverstone and Estoril (1993)
But,he won the last two races(Japan and Australia) powered by the Ford-Cosworth V8 🤓.

Another great memory and shot by @LukasGorys from the 1993 edition, here's Ayrton being congratulated by Ron Dennis in the Suzuka Parc Fermé, Alain Prost can be seen walking away in the background. #F1 …ursearchive.iconpublishinglimited.com/app/AUT307

Here is another crazy what if… Gilles Villeneuve was heavily linked to Mclaren for 83/84 but was killed. It’s possible that had he raced there it could have been a Prost Villeneuve lineup vs Senna Prost. If Senna wasn’t killed in 94 it’s possible Jacques would have never got the Williams drive…
English

@KrisVanD2 @McLarenF1 Would Senna have a different fate, if Dennis agreed on Lamborghini engines?
English

The legend is Ron Dennis preferred a European brand to Chrysler (which owned Lambo) as they would be more “commited” to the sport in terms of money/development . The other issue was Bob Lutz wanted to rebrand the Engine as a Chrysler and not Lamborghini. Ron Dennis didn’t like McLaren-Chrysler name as he felt it didn’t sound prestigious enough as McLaren-Lamborghini. McLaren signed with Peugeot and as predicted Chrysler sold off Lamborghini.
English

@LalitaAmazing @McLarenF1 If,McLaren would have take the Lamborghini engine,he'd might have stayed with McLaren, him and Mika were optimistic after testing the Lamborghini V12.
Another #F1 what If......

@afzin00 @Pmetz1864 @imetatronink F-117 hit was actually mostly down to operational failures by the USAF and Nato. Regardless the Serbians knew their equipment well
English

@Pmetz1864 @imetatronink F117 very different to F35 even if both are stealth

⁉️ F-35 Shot Down?
CENTCOM has confessed that the Iranians successfully targeted and "damaged" an F-35 flying in Iranian airspace. They claim it made an emergency landing and the pilot is in "stable condition".
Iran released a very short clip of what they claim was the strike. The last frame of the clip clearly shows a plume of flame trailing behind the jet after the strike.
That looks like a fatal wound to me.
I'll bet CENTCOM is hiding the fact that the pilot had to eject and the plane was lost.

English

@MichelSeguin2 How so? I simply said don’t get your hopes up as nothing is certified under CMVSS except for Model 3, Y, EX30 EX60/90
English

@SimplyGregster I am aware, but you are taking what I'm saying out of context a bit
English

@SimplyGregster Lmao I won't be buying from some sketchy import service like this, I just thought it was funny.
Brands like Chery and BYD are now officially allowed to sell in Canada with a 6.1% tariff (down from 100%). Currently they're spinning up certification and dealerships.

From the last frames of the F-35 being hit by Iranian air defense.
It looks like some shrapnel got into the air intake and damaged the engine, but the airframe looked largely intact.
The important thing here is not whether a F-35 was shot down, it was the fact that Iran's air defense was able to detect, track, lock onto and shoot and damage a F-35.
This alone is a form of deterrence, forcing the US to continue using expensive standoff munitions with their non-stealth aircraft and avoid using F-35 with impunity.

@CNN Stealth doesn’t mean invisible. An F-117 was shot down

@brandenflasch @ChargePointnet FLO sent the same email. Frankly now that CE has auto charge and the Fiat has SC access I have zero reason to keep chargepoint.

Why the hell would William Shatner ever need to go 500 miles without stopping? That is one crazy statement. Does he not realize he can charge in his massive garage every couple days?

When Tesla’s get to 500 miles per charge; I’ll think about one. BTW there’s an app that allows Waze to work. 🙄 #thinkIdontknow? 🥱😑
