A knifeman stabbed a woman to death in front of terrified bystanders in Barcelona in what authorities believe was a random street killing. A woman has been killed in a shocking knife attack in the streets of Barcelona in full view of horrified bystanders. The stabbing happened at around 11am in Esplugues de Llobregat, just a short distance from the Camp Nou stadium. Witnesses watched as the attacker struck in broad daylight. The victim, described locally as a young woman, suffered multiple stab wounds to the throat, chest and stomach. She died at the scene. A 50-year-old man who tried to intervene was also injured, sustaining wounds to his arm. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Police say they are still working to determine whether the attacker knew the victim. So far, there is no evidence of any relationship between them. Investigators are focusing on the possibility that this was a random attack. The suspect — described as wearing jeans, a hoodie and carrying a large black rucksack was arrested just hours later in the nearby Les Corts area. Images of the alleged attacker holding the weapon have since circulated, adding to the shock surrounding the incident. As the investigation continues, one thing is already clear: A normal morning turned into a scene of terror and a life has been taken in the most brutal way.

I’ve stood beside @GovRonDeSantis delivering real results for Florida. I will continue to protect your rights, secure our borders, and keep our state strong. As a veteran, a fighter, and a father, I know what it takes to lead when it matters most. Let’s keep Florida the envy of the nation.

The Trump-endorsed Congressman has consolidated the field — the rest are stuck in single digits. Florida Republicans are sending a clear message: Byron Donalds is the guy. Next stop: Governor’s Mansion? 🇺🇸 #Florida2026 #ByronDonalds #MAGA

🚨 FLORIDA, IT’S TIME FOR REAL LEADERSHIP — BYRON DONALDS FOR GOVERNOR! 🚨 It’s hilarious (and telling) how critics claim Byron Donalds has “done nothing” for Florida—just like they pretended no one knew Jay Collins before he became Lt. Governor. These are nothing but weak excuses from folks scared of a strong, principled Black conservative leading the Sunshine State. The truth? Byron Donalds has a proven track record of conservative wins for Florida families, starting right here in the state legislature and continuing in Congress. Republicans in Florida are ready for real change and historic leadership—Florida’s first Black governor who actually delivers results. Byron Donalds’ Wins for Florida: • Hope Scholarship (HB 1): As a state representative, Donalds was a driving force behind this landmark school choice expansion. It gives parents options and scholarships for kids facing bullying or harassment in public schools—one of the biggest education freedom victories in Florida history. He called it one of his proudest accomplishments, empowering families so no child is trapped in a failing environment. • Strong focus on education, elder affairs, and criminal justice reform: In the Florida House (2016-2020), representing Hendry and east Collier counties, he chaired the PreK-12 Quality Subcommittee and the Insurance & Banking Subcommittee. He pushed policies for world-class education, protecting seniors, and smarter justice reforms. • One of the most conservative records in the Florida Legislature: Solid voting record fighting for limited government, pro-family policies, and Florida values. • In Congress (FL-19): Earned 96-100% Liberty Scores and Heritage Action scores—among the most conservative members. He’s a rock-solid Trump ally and freedom fighter. • Enacted federal legislation: Primary sponsor of bills signed into law, including the International Nuclear Energy Act of 2025 (boosting clean energy leadership) and the FISHES Act (protecting fishing/heritage interests relevant to Florida’s economy and coast). • Fought for Southwest Florida priorities: Water quality, hurricane recovery accountability, energy independence, border security, and stopping socialist overreach. Opposed Green New Deal nonsense that would hurt Florida jobs and families. Attacks on him are baseless, ignorant smears. Byron started his political career in Florida, built real results with one of the strongest conservative records, and has been a consistent voice for our movement—standing with President Trump every step. Florida is ready to make history in 2026. Byron Donalds will keep building on our successes: safer streets, stronger schools, booming economy, and maximum freedom. No more excuses—time to elect a governor who fights for all Floridians and shows America how it’s done. Who’s with us? Drop a 🔥 below and SHARE if you’re ready for real leadership! #ByronForGovernor #FloridaFirst #MAGA #Trump2028 #MakeFloridaGreat #ConservativeLeadership #HistoryInTheMaking 🇺🇸

Spirit employees are very upset at the way their employer went out of business and are preparing to rage at an empty building. I'd say they should learn to code but ngl it just wouldn't be realistic with this group. Maybe Brightline is hiring.

Hubby and I visited Sanibel Island in Florida this weekend and what I DIDN’T see was more impressive than what I DID see. I didn’t see homeless people camped on the beach or boardwalk. I didn’t see needles and drug paraphernalia laying around. I didn’t see human feces on the sidewalks. I didn’t see criminals looting stores or attacking people. I didn’t see any of the things that have become the norm in California. Thank you @GovRonDeSantis for fostering a clean, safe, beautiful paradise and being the governor that America needs.

Elizabeth Warren spent 2022–2024 lobbying to kill the JetBlue–Spirit merger. She called it “a Biden win for flyers.” Spirit just shut down. The people she claimed to be protecting are now the ones paying the price for her economic illiteracy. Sept 2022: Warren writes Buttigieg, demands DOT block the deal. Frames it as protecting consumers from the Big Four — whom, she correctly noted, controlled 80% of the market. 2026: Spirit is gone. The Big Four now control more of the market, not less. She got the diagnosis right and the cure exactly backwards. Spirit’s customer base wasn’t Wall Street. Average ticket was $90. The airline existed because lower-income Americans needed a way to fly home for funerals, weddings, job interviews. Now those flights don’t exist. The “win” was for whom, exactly? 17,000 Spirit workers — flight attendants, ramp agents, mechanics, gate staff — are out of jobs. Median pay roughly $50K. Warren’s defense this week: blame “Trump’s war” for fuel prices. Spirit lost 24% of its workforce in 2024 alone — before Iran, before fuel spiked. The plane was already going down. A senator who builds a brand on “fighting for working people” lobbied to block the lifeline that would have kept 17,000 of them employed and millions more in cheap seats. Economic illiteracy isn’t a quirk. It’s the cost the rest of us pay.
Elizabeth Warren@SenWarren

Spiking fuel prices from Trump’s war was the nail in the coffin for twice-bankrupted Spirit airline. FWIW, JetBlue merger failed because a judge, appointed by Ronald Reagan, said the deal was illegal. Republicans are desperate to shift blame from higher costs hitting families.
