We were thrilled to attend the groundbreaking of the East Warren Public Market! This 10,000 sq. ft. market. It will feature a grocery market, retail spaces for local vendors, a community gathering space, and house the East Warren Development Corporation offices.

In commemoration of Juneteenth, our team is helping to clean up Clark Park, one of the many projects funded by the Strategic Neighborhood Fund. Over $1 million has been invested in this park, featuring amenities like ziplining, basketball courts, and a community center.

On June 19, 1865, the last enslaved African Americans were informed of their freedom. Today, we honor this historic moment and continue the fight for equality.

Keona Cowan, our EVP of Lending, joined Cliff Brown and city leaders to celebrate the grand opening of The Brooke on Bagley! This $23M development features 78 apartments, with 16 reserved for residents at 80% AMI, bringing quality affordable housing to the community.

Yesterday we started breaking ground for the Better Block Detroit G7 project site! Joined by our partners Detroit volunteers, we’re rolling up our sleeves to bring this lot to life. We will be implementing a shade structure, gravel paths, an alley mural, parklet, and much more!

With a focus on sustainability, each unit will be NGBS Silver-certified. Art and culture will grace the lobby with pieces from local artists Matt Corbin and Yvette Cole, while amenities like EV charging stations and a fitness center bring modern comforts to future residents.

With this development affordability is key, which is why over half of “The Claire’s” units are set at or below 80% AMI, thanks to a collaborative investment and support from @CityofDetroit , DHFF, Ebiara, @MEDC, and @MSHDA, and Invest Detroit. #housing #investment

Construction on “The Claire” has kicked off in the North End Neighborhood, with sights set on a 2025 finish line. This venture by Century Partners breathes new life into the 1920’s Clairwood, turning it into 42 modern apartments with a $9.17M investment. #detroit #affordability
