The way I look at CSK, they have assembled a unit that can dominate on flat tracks with intent. Yesterday was a spicy track for the side batting first, and it was our bad luck This side's ceiling is that they dont have the firepower to score above par batting first on tricky surfaces to overcome the extra runs that come from dew for the side chasing. The side also does not have bowlers who are express fast, tall and elite. CSK feels like a side that cannot apply brakes when required and also get into 6th gear when required. They are gear 1-5 side, that loves the highway for gear 5. We are talking on a 14 game road trip, where we hope to get better roads to out bat opponents and make the opponents make mistakes The other teams like RCB,RR, MI, GT, PBKS all look like they are well constructed sides that are able to increase their ceiling when required (at least looking at the auction personell bought). It's a 14 game journey, and the more consistent car will ride their way through to the top 4. Waiting to CSK to discover their best first 11
