@AutismCapital dude, i didn't realize he was autistic, the routine and calmness and silence of the movie felt so good to me. i loved the movie because of this.

Just watched an interesting movie called Perfect Days. It's about a Japanese autist who needs to have a very rigid daily routine in order to keep his sanity which is hanging on by a thread. The second curveballs are thrown his way, and his routine is disrupted/changed, he falls apart. Real autists know, routines are essential. Don't mess with the routine.

@dhh i thought you were on adderall 😅 i took it for a month, 10 years ago, trying to cope with a "mental fog" that was only low testosterone. It makes you feel invincible, then after its flushed out of your system, the crash is hard, you feel like shit.

The tragedy is that the amphetamines don't even work at producing the final outcome: better learning! It produces more docile children who will grind on request, but they don't absorb the material any better. It's all performative.

Giving amphetamines to kids who can't sit still, focus on boring school work, or any of the other ADHD markers has an initial effect, but after 3 years, it's gone. It's utterly insane that a quarter of American 17 year-old boys have a ADHD diagnosis. nytimes.com/2025/04/13/mag…

Most under-attack mitigations block known benign bot traffic, thus harming your business (e.g.: Stripe webhooks). Vercel's approach automatically allows this essential traffic, while keeping all the bad actors at bay. No need for custom page rules or IP allowlist maintenance.
