There are only a few thousands switches left so it'll likely be gone tonight/tomorrow. After that next cheapest is 7% under current cap below that there's virtually nothing left. Important: You can only get the exclusive if before 23 Feb a) You were an existing member of Energy Club or b) You were signed up to the MSE weekly email (in which case use that specific email to sign up to the energy club) If you're on the Price Cap (not prepay) frankly with the situation right now this is a very safe risk averse move if you're eligible. @MartinSLewis Hi Martin, What do you recommmend to someone who has just purchased a property and was looking to fix. I’ve panic locked into a 2yr fix with EDF but is there anything better available still that the expected April 1st drop would sweeten? Im concerned about costs escalating.

Lots of people messaging me saying octopus has added early exit fees to their fixes. Yes that seems to be a policy change. It's fixes were never that competitive compared to open market, but that (as well as service) was its big sell. It is of course only for new not existing fixes. The market is in turmoil there are very few cheap fixes left so ultimately this may be a defensive move to keep it's fix relatively (definitely not absolutely) lower. To be fair all companies are playing with their now, mostly paltry, offerings. The market is all over the place.

Garnacho is one of the biggest ever sales in United history at £40m, and getting the deal done now, rather than on deadline day could/should help provide extra wiggle room for additional incomings if needed.

The £40m fixed fee Chelsea are getting Garnacho for is a little low to my mind considering current market rates, but good work from #MUFC to negotiate up from the initial £25-35m bids. That 10% sell on fee is sensible business too.
