@MartinSLewis Current price cap is at 5.9p / kwh for Gas and the Eon fixed 6.59/kwh. That’s 10% higher gas bills for April - July, 4 months, to save on costs of next 8. The price cap beyond July projected to be at 15% rise, so we are giving away 10% for 4 months to save on 15% for 8 months?

@MartinSLewis The EON dual energy switch is a dud, getting rejected after a day for no reason, zero emails from EON - can i suggest taking it up with them why they are not honouring their offering and maybe removing them from panel.

Everyone under 30 is prematurely old (worried about savings, career, FIRE). Everyone over 50 is desperately young (Burning Man, psychedelics). My theory: Information abundance aged the young by showing them all future problems all at once. Information abundance also made the old young by showing them all missed experiences all at once. So now Gen Z talks like retirement planners and boomers act like teenagers. It's so over.
