This reminds me of reading a Sidney Sheldon novel about a high-stakes political thriller: secret meetings, tactical "shadow" security forces, and a multi-year master plan involving betrayal and "extraordinary measures." It’s fit for cinema as well; like the "assassination by poisoning" or the idea of using a presidency as a "political tool" just to bypass term eligibility rules. If this were true, then the Marcos camp successfully intercepted this plan and outsmarted the Dutertes. Kaya pala may RAGE opposition pa silang nalalaman, because of their botched plan to unseat the president. ———— Below is the transcription of the three-page handwritten letter signed by Ramil Madriaga: ### Page 1 The strategic assumptions of VP Sara Duterte and the tragedy of BBM’s presidency. It all started sometime in 2021 when BBM with Senator Imee Marcos visited FPRRD. They had a serious talk about the 2022 elections. PBBM was able to convince FPRRD to have Sara to be his Vice President (not to run as President). November 2021 FPRRD mentioned to me about letting Marcos to run along with Sara as presidential candidate all for a plan of retaking the presidency from BBM by year 2025 – This is to extend Duterte’s control of the Phil Govt. and using BBM merely as a political tool. This pronouncement of FPRRD became clear to me after VP Sara took her oath as VP. FPRRD discussed with me and other retired generals all his plans of unseating BBM, by all means, come 2025 so Sara can assume the presidency untimely but still can run for the presidency come 2028 national election. FPRRD told me that BBM knows already of him stepping down by the year 2025 and yield his post to VP Sara. FPRRD wanted to me to share some advice. My advice was simply to create a separate security unit for the Office of the Vice President – A security group that is distinct and independent from the PSG. I eventually recommended the newly built Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo training school to be the ### Page 2 designated homebase and headquarters where I am presently teaching strategic tactical transport course. FPRRD there and then, called up DND Secretary Delfin Lorenzana to create a VPSPG and make CGEA-GHQ Training School as its headquarters. The strategy is that upon assumption of office of the President succeeding BBM, Sara should only serve less than 4 years of presidency to make her still eligible to run as President by 2028. Part of the plan is to sabotage BBM’s administration by using some of BBM’s men to insinuate and initiate corruption issues that will lead to BBM’s impeachment. In the event that BBM refused to honor the agreement and opted not to relinquish his post as president, extraordinary measures of overthrowing BBM should be considered like impeachment, assassination by poisoning or any other means and by the use of People Power that will be triggered by FPRRD with the participation of active and retired AFP and PNP officers.
