Today is Persian Gulf Day in Iran, marking our ancestors' expulsion of Portuguese from Strait of Hormuz 400 years ago.
POTUS uses the correct term “Persian Gulf", not the Pentagon’s fake version. But calling Hormuz anything else is indeed a "terrible mistake".

EU’s inhuman sanctions on Iran were never about “human rights” — they were designed to trample the basic rights of ordinary Iranians. No one is buying this tired moral theater. Such posturing won’t earn you—or your constituency—an ounce of credibility on the world stage. If anything, it only further demonstrates Europe's ruling class' double-standard & hypocrisy, and hastens Europe’s embarrassing descent into irrelevance.

The NPT Review Conference started today in New York with the election of the Islamic Republic of Iran as a Vice-President of the Conference.
This indeed is an acknowledgement of Iran’s role and advocacy towards a nuclear-weapon-free world.
Iran is one of the first countries to become a party to the NPT.
In 1974, Iran proposed the establishment of a nuclear-weapon-free zone in the Middle East.
The Martyred Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran was the only Muslim scholar who issued a religious decree on the prohibition of nuclear weapons.

نحن اليوم في مسقط في إطار زيارة رسمية إلى سلطنة عُمان، وهي الزيارة الأولى لمعالي وزير الخارجية السيد عباس عراقجي إلى منطقة الخليج الفارسي عقب العدوان الأمريكي الإسرائيلي الأخير، الذي أثّر على المنطقة بأسرها.
