@DelaneyLJordan Luca was wonderful, and my kids really love Elemental. Can’t speak to Turning Red because my kids are just not the demographic. Covid releases in general were a weird experience (look at Encanto).

@DadBountyHunter @parkhopperzach If you set it up a few weeks ago, it was the old rules. The new rollout is draconian
English

@parkhopperzach Granted we set it up a couple of weeks ago, but with our trip being after the change and the video call I’m pretty sure we were in the new process. I was pleasantly surprised, as invisible disabilities are usually the ones who suffer with things like this.

@kevcof @moment_mirthful @PicturesFoIder Ha funny, I was making Avocado toast for lunch the other day and adding the costs! I get the avocado mash from Costco, so it is quite economical! We didn’t even have cable 🤣
English

@IrishAliG @moment_mirthful @PicturesFoIder And with the money you saved you were able to pay for your Netflix, AppleTV, & Hulu subscriptions, and the Planet Fitness membership, and the avocado toast and Aperol spritzers at weekend brunch. 😉

@IrishAliG @parkhopperzach I was asked this question too and I literally said this exact response
English

@parkhopperzach @IrelandKimmer Yes. Comments about utilizing ear protection to block sensory issues (that Disney will be selling!) or the autism not being ‘severe enough’. Can’t wait to hear how they respond to my eloper 🤷🏻♀️
English

@IrelandKimmer Disney has stated that guests on the autism spectrum should qualify for the new DAS program. All of the information is online and must be done before your arrival. So definitely check that out and schedule the video call if you're interested in using it.

@LeetMor @thinkmickey Also so now your family waits for how long for you to somehow return? An hour? So now a 45 minute line is ends up being 2 hours for them?
English

@jcnash Like someone else said (and I have no PTSD experience), it is about minimizing as much as possible to not trigger an episode.I do know people with PTSD, and they basically don’t go to concerts or large stadium events.Disney used to make it manageable for them with their approach
English

@IrishAliG Someone with PTSD must also tolerate loud crowds walking shoulder to shoulder with them. I don't understand how they can handle that but not standing in a line? They also have to tolerate lines in every day life in stores and other venues.
English

@Xxcharlotteoxx @jcnash There is literally a schedule of showtimes in the app, and the show is 15-20 minutes. That is easy math. It is certainly avoidable if that is a PTSD trigger. You are also only speaking about one park, the other three don’t have fireworks of any sort during the day.
English

@IrishAliG @jcnash Fireworks go off throughout the day at the end of the shows on the castle stage. Its extremely hard to time when that's going to happen.
English

@jcnash @hecallsmePP The DAS made the line part minimal, as you wait somewhere else. It is easy to avoid the fireworks (you go do an indoor ride or dine or leave during fireworks). Disney made it manageable for those folks to take a Disney vacation with their families, not perfect, but do-able.
English

@hecallsmePP Please explain how someone with PTSD can even tolerate a place like Disney? There are constant loud noises, fireworks, crowds, all kinds of sensory overload for them to have to handle.
English

@thinkmickey They just seem to be putting a ton on the CMs and putting people with medical emergencies in the position of doing a lot when they really can’t.
English

@thinkmickey Also, plenty of for DAS recipients don’t just ‘briefly’ leave the line. It can be an hour. With DAS, they were delayed, spot there. Now, they get to wait 30 minutes, somehow get out of the line, find a CM to log them to return, leave for an hour, then wait another 30 minutes?
English

@mamamightymac @rww671 @NBCOlympics That is how Molly Seidel qualified for the last Olympic trials as well
English

@rww671 @NBCOlympics Thank you! I didn't know that was a thing.
English

Fiona O’Keeffe ran the fastest time in U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials history and became the first woman to EVER win the event in her marathon debut! 🤯
Now, she’s off to the #ParisOlympics. #MarathonTrials24

@archi_tradition I'll pick a lesser-known choice -
Toledo, Spain
The entire city is surrounded by Medieval walls overlooking the Tagus River, with centuries of history.
It was one of the most important cities, from the Roman Empire to the Middle Ages:

@Travis_in_Flint Is this an acting audition? That stack of resumes look like blank printer paper.
