It’s difficult to put into words how criminally stupid @houseinhabit is but I’ll do my best: She created an entire theory that my husband and I buried a DUI hit and run by paying off the victim in which included documents and evidence in the form of an alleged victim payout and court case. Apparently, we paid a relatively minuscule 6,987.00 and made all our troubles go away. Imagine that! She is wholly illiterate. The case documents she has dug up stems from my husband pulling out of a parking lot in broad daylight and gently tapping the vehicle in front of him in the rain. Since there was no damage to the car outside of scratches, he and the other driver shook hands, decided not call the police and exchanged numbers as we were happy to pay for a new paint job. Months later, under the advising of his insurance, the man pretended he had post-traumatic whiplash. I kid you not. He then pursued our insurance for 6,987.00 for emotional distress plus the cost of his radiology appointment. Feel free to contact the “victim” @houseinhabit! That’s the whole story. There was no drinking or police involved. Just a regular old insurance shakedown after a light tap to the rear of a vehicle going 5 miles an hour: about as American as Apple pie, really. I’d like publicly apologize to the many fans that I’ve let down by marrying a man who pulled out of a parking lot too fast in broad daylight.

I just saw the much talked about film “Project Hail Mary.” It's very entertaining and uplifting and features a fine performance from Ryan Gosling. But what most intrigued me were the powerful Christian themes at play in it. The title, of course, refers to the Hail Mary pass in football, since the adventure undertaken is a fairly desperate attempt to save the planet. But it also becomes eminently clear that the reference is not just to football but to the Blessed Mother herself, for the Gosling character is undoubtedly a Christ-figure. I don't want to give away too much of the plot, but it involves a willingness to sacrifice one's life utterly in order to deliver the entire human race from disaster. It is, of course, no accident that Gosling's character is called Ryland Grace, for throughout the movie, his presence and actions constitute undeserved favor to others. A particularly intriguing character in the film is a sober German scientist who relentlessly presses Grace to make the supreme sacrifice, even when he is unwilling. She represented for me the great moral demand that presses upon us throughout our lives, continually summoning us to self-gift. A last observation: Jesus had a second in command whom he called Peter (the Rock); Ryland Grace has a very unusual sidekick whom he calls “Rocky.” I'll leave it at that. I know lots of people say that Christianity is in irreversible decline and that we are inhabiting, at least in the West, a post-Christian society. I'm not so sure. Like it or not, we remain a Christ-haunted culture—and a film like “Project Hail Mary” makes this clear.

@HanShawnity What major policy positions has she flip-flopped on? No new wars? Deport illegals? America (not Israel) First? No insider trading (letting friends and family know in advance what will be posted on Truth Social to place bets on Polymarket?)

I placed $1.5 billion in futures at 6:50 AM. Fourteen minutes before President Trump's Truth Social post. That's generous. Usually, I get five. The S&P was barely breathing. Premarket Monday. The kind of quiet where a single order echoes through the entire book. I bought $1.5 billion in futures. The index moved 0.3% on my entry alone. That's how thin the market was. That's how empty the room was. At the same time, I shorted $192 million in crude oil. Then I sat there. Three screens. One coffee. The futures blinking green on the left, the oil contract bleeding red on the right, and in the center, a Truth Social feed set to refresh every four seconds. Fourteen minutes is a long time when you know what's coming. Not because I was nervous. Because I was early. At 7:04 AM, the president posted. Productive discussions. Five-day halt on strikes. Peace talks with Iran. S&P jumped 2.5%. Oil cratered 6%. My position gained $60 million before most Americans' alarm clocks went off. Good morning. Iran later denied that the talks ever happened. Called it fake news. The speaker of their parliament accused the president of manipulating financial markets. The talks might not be real. The sixty million dollars is. The analytics accounts flagged it within the hour. "Unusual activity." "Orders 4-6x larger than anything else trading at the time." That's their word for it. Unusual. My word for it is Tuesday. They always flag it. That's their function. Flagging is not investigating. Flagging is the system's way of noting that it saw something, documenting that it will do nothing, and calling that process oversight. The actual investigation is conducted by the CFTC. The CFTC has one commissioner. Out of five seats. One. The other four chairs are empty. Not vacant. Emptied. There is a difference. Vacant means nobody applied. Emptied means somebody decided the body responsible for policing futures markets should not have enough members to hold a vote. That's not negligence. That's architecture. You know what we call this pattern on the desk? TACO. Trump Always Chickens Out. Escalate on Friday, capitulate on Monday, and extract in the window between the decision and the post. It's so reliable, we named it. We have a private Slack channel. #taco-tuesday. It updates automatically when Truth Social pushes a new geopolitical keyword. We don't teach it as insider trading. We teach it as a market structure. New analysts learn it in their first week. By the second week, they stop flinching. The phone rang at 6:47 AM. Three minutes before I entered the position. The call lasted ninety seconds. Ninety seconds of context. $60 million of outcome. You call that insider trading. I understand why. Insider trading is the word you learned. It's the crime from the movies. The whispered merger at a cocktail party. Four hundred shares of a mid-cap pharmaceutical. That gets prosecuted. That's the version of this crime the system was built to catch. What I do is different. I place $1.5 billion against a war decision made in a room I have the phone number to. On a platform overseen by a commission with one member. In a market where the president's social media account is the most powerful price-setting mechanism on earth. That's not insider trading. That's infrastructure. You would go to federal prison for trading on a tip from your brother-in-law. I made $60 million trading on a war. The difference is not the crime. The difference is the decimal point. Americans paid for this war with four-dollar gas and sixteen billion in taxes. I paid for a phone call. We are not in the same economy. Last month, $529 million was wagered on Polymarket's Iran strikes market. Six accounts pocketed $1.2 million. Deposited funds the same day. Hours before the bombs fell. One account cleared $553,000 at 17% odds, seventy-one minutes before public confirmation. He has not placed another bet since. The president's son sits on Polymarket's advisory board. Two federal investigations into the platform were quietly dropped this year. Twelve government officials sold stocks in the weeks before the tariff crash. All of them reported the sales after the deadline. Nobody calls any of that insider trading. They call it prediction markets. Delayed disclosures. Portfolio rebalancing. I call it the junior varsity version of what I do with futures. An Oxford law professor called it the most far-reaching securities fraud in history. We call it the window. Tomorrow, this will be gone. Buried under a new tariff. A new ultimatum. A new TACO. Next Monday at 6:50 AM, I will be here again. Coffee. Three screens. The phone. The ninety-second call. The fourteen-minute window. The game isn't rigged. Rigged implies something broke. Nothing broke. Every component is functioning exactly as specified. The one-member commission. The anonymous platforms. The four-second refresh on the Truth Social feed. The phone that rings at 6:47. I didn't exploit a flaw in the system. I am the system.

@AnnCoulter Utopian dream now. Would result in the war to end all wars soon thereafter if you know how to play Chess or Risk or think logically about what that would bring about. It was never really an option after WW2, an empire is either growing or dying.

There are many false claims in this letter but let me address one specifically: that "Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation."   This is the same false claim that Democrats and some in the liberal media have been repeating over and over.   As President Trump has clearly and explicitly stated, he had strong and compelling evidence that Iran was going to attack the United States first.   This evidence was compiled from many sources and factors. President Trump would never make the decision to deploy military assets against a foreign adversary in a vacuum.   Iran is the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism. The Iranian regime is evil. It proudly killed Americans, waged war against our country, and openly threatened us all the way up to the launch of Operation Epic Fury.   Iran was aggressively expanding their short-range ballistic missiles to combine with their naval assets to give themselves immunity – meaning they would have a degree of a capabilities that would give them immunity to hold us and the rest of the world hostage.   The regime aimed to use those ballistic missiles as a shield to continue achieving their ultimate goal – nuclear weapons.   The President, through his top negotiators, gave the regime every single possible opportunity to abandon this unacceptable course by permanently giving up their nuclear ambitions in exchange for sanctions relief, free nuclear fuel, and potential economic partnerships with our country.   But they would not say yes to peace because obtaining nuclear weapons was their fundamental goal.   President Trump ultimately made the determination that a joint attack with Israel would greatly reduce the risk to American lives that would come from a first strike by the terrorist Iranian regime and address this imminent threat to America’s national security interests.   All of this led to President Trump arriving at the determination that this military operation was necessary for U.S. national security, which is why he launched the massively successful Operation Epic Fury. The Commander-in-Chief determines what does and does not constitute a threat, because he is the one constitutionally empowered to do so - and because the American people went to the ballot box and entrusted him and him alone to make such final judgments. And finally, the absurd allegation that President Trump made this decision based on the influence of others, even foreign countries, is both insulting and laughable. President Trump has been remarkably consistent and has said for DECADES that Iran can NEVER possess a nuclear weapon. As someone who actually witnesses President Trump’s decision-making process on a daily basis, I can attest to the fact that he is always looking to do what’s in the best interest of the United States of America — period. America First.
Joe Kent@joekent16jan19

After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today. I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby. It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC. May God bless America.

This is really sad for me to hear. We had 3 different pediatricians in the 3 different cities our children were born, all wonderful and I was able to trust each one and raise 3 heathy babies. The only question posed during that time was the later debunked vaccine link to autism, and our pediatrician was fully able to answer those questions and concerns as I believe all good doctors will be. I hope the medical field can rebuild trust in those who feel this way for the good of all.

@CBSNews Why does a newborn need a HEP B shot? It’s things like that (and the earned distrust of the Pharmaceutical Industrial Complex) that have people concerned about every shot “the science experts” claim are no brainers.

This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to write. I’m completely devastated. Last Friday, I️ was notified that my monetization had been paused. I’ve shown up on this app for 5 years straight every single day to grow my account to what it is now. I️ never once paid for ads, never bought followers, never did anything but grow in an organic way. After appealing once, I️ was told my account was removed due to spam and inauthentic content. This couldn’t be further from the truth. I️ spend 6-12 hours on X daily in addition to my full time job; creating content, interacting and posting. I’ve adapted to new algorithms, posting strategies and even started a newsletter. I️’ve stopped using any other online platforms as I️ truly value the freedom and community X has brought me. Every single holiday, family event, vacation, wedding, birthday, you name it, I’ve been active on X during it. I’ve never once taken for granted the audience I’ve grown on this app and have thoroughly enjoyed the relationships I’ve built because of it. During this last period in which I️ was removed, I️ proposed to my girlfriend of 7 years. During this proposal trip, I️ stayed active online the entire time, which is nothing new. I have given up years of time to create something bigger with no regret. But now, after being denied and repeatedly called a spam account, with no way to plead my case, my last resort is to post here. Having to do this publicly feels so pathetic. It’s been almost a week and 2 appeals later, and I️ can’t get in touch with anyone who’s willing to help. I haven’t been given any clarification of where I️ went wrong or if there is a pathway to resolution. How can I️ dedicate myself so profoundly to something for so many years without being given any chance to make a simple change in my form of content? I’ve never had my account flagged or even been told of any misconduct in a 5 year period. The first I️ hear of an issue is ironically on pay day after spending hours upon hours working online during my vacation. I️ don’t expect everyone to be able to understand the severity of this situation because they will never see the time, sacrifices and work put into growing an account from 0 followers to over 260k. I️ can’t begin to explain the things I’ve sacrificed to get to the point of being a creator and I️ can’t help but feel like the platform has failed me. To you, this may just be a lighthearted meme account you follow. To me, this has altered my life. I️ was committing to go full time on X and even put in notice at my full time job. It is every content creators dream to be able to take this on full time, and to have it taken away from you almost as soon as you got it, feels gut wrenching. Over the last 2 years I’ve told everyone how important it is to get a blue checkmark, pay for premium and begin to monetize their account. I️ couldn’t have been louder about how much I️ love this platform and truly felt it was the only platform worth being on. The freedom I️ was given was amazing up until now. I️ truly never thought something like this would happen. All of this to say, I️ am not a spam account and I️ deserve reconciliation. I️f there is a specific thing I’ve done wrong, I️ will adapt my content to no longer do so. But a permanent suspension with a false reasoning will never be okay with me. I️ would hope that you are also not okay with taking away the livelihood of the creators on a platform that prides itself on free speech. @XCreators @premium @x @elonmusk @nikitabier
