Canavan says no date as yet on return flight for Irish people stranded in Peru and "lot of work ongoing" on returning Irish citizens stuck in Australia.

Currently being briefed by senior Taoiseach's Department official Liz Canavan. She says there were 103k applications for Covid-19 income supports by last Friday. Payments made yesterday to almost 60k of those applications. Weekly statistical report to be published weekly

@DominicRaab I watched you promise in Parliament today that you were making plans to get uk nationals @ukstuckinperu back home safely. You’ve since said they can try and get a flight to Madrid. Shocking way to treat UK citizens @UKinPeru @kate_harrisson
