My son expressed an interest in reading historical biographies. He’s a bright kid but I don’t know many 16 year olds that are gonna slog through a 700 page Chernow. Do you have recommendations on accesible yet high quality story driven history books / biographies?

@MattWalshBlog As an 8th grade teacher of nearly 30years, what I did on the weekends was none of my students concerns…my job is to teach them US History, not about my private life.

There's nothing in the bill that prevents teachers from talking about their private lives, but why the hell do they want so badly to talk to little kids about their private lives anyway? I didn't know anything about the private lives of any of my teachers. It never came up.
