@BrynnUtah@tlwilly23 I would go every year when it was free. When I had to pay to see a half-hearted effort game, I stopped going. So because I no longer attend the game, I am 100% fine with getting the guys an extra practice in. If they brought back free admission I would probably go. Just my 2¢.
Honest thoughts Utah fans: are you sad the spring game has been cancelled? I miss the glory days when the game was free and you could sit wherever you want in RES. Wish we would go back to that
@jdpickell I’m interested in who my NFL team selects, and I’m interested in how high or what round players go from my favorite school. Other than that, I don’t really pay attention.
Morgan Scalley announces that Utah will not be holding a spring game this year. He said he wanted the extra practice day for a team coming together. He said there will be a day that fans will get to meet the team and learn who everyone is as a replacement.
@samwinderart Yeah, I don’t think anyone is to “blame”. I can’t blame Kyle for not wanting to give up decision-making power to one of his assistants, and I can’t blame Utah for opting for the long-term program decision rather than the short term play and saving some $ while they were at it.
I have the same feelings about Kyle Whittingham and Utah Football today as I did in January.
Today we learned about specific numbers and conversations, but we already knew the general story. Nothing new.
Both sides can make a convincing argument.
Time to move on.
Go Utes!
@JFurKSL I always felt at the time that there was more to the story. Now we know there was. It’s a shame that the two sides couldn’t come to an agreement, but it’s difficult to blame Kyle for not wanting to give up final decision-making power for his program.
Just time to move forward.
Kyle Whittingham intended to stay as head coach of Utah football, but the 2 sides couldn't come to an agreement, according to documents obtained.
Here's a look at the situation.

@IrishUte23@DavidDJJames I think the full quote was “five star freshmen,” which makes it undeniably true. We also don’t need to be reminded about it by the likes of Whit and other opposing coaches.
Kyle Whittingham says a handful of Michigan freshmen can be major contributors this season. “I didn’t have that luxury at Utah very often.” A shot or truth?
