The Director of National Intelligence has just reported that Anthony Fauci funded a bioweapons lab in China in the creation of the COVID pandemic that killed millions. ABC has crack reporter Jonathan Karl headlining an algae story.

ABC News' Jonathan Karl reports from the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool where workers continue to battle algae – and the new paint job appears to be falling apart. The Department of Interior did not immediately respond to a request for comment. abcnews.link/aBAOLif

Again: Tony Fauci funded COVID’s birth in the Wuhan lab. He led the coverup. Millions died. Trillions lost. Years of human misery. Science-free mask mandates and social distancing that caused isolation, depression, and despair. Devastating learning loss, abuse, and neglect for poor kids--particularly black kids. Elderly patients died alone. Fauci lied to Congress. He colluded with Big Tech to illegally censor doctors, scientists, and others who dared to question him. Fauci pushed a mandate on an experimental vaccine (that didn't even stop the spread of COVID)--and made a fortune. Then he got his Biden pardon. Congress must make Fauci publicly testify. States and local DAs must explore criminal charges against Fauci. Fauci is a mass-murderer. He is a monster.. He belongs in prison for life.

Today, on my final day as Director of National Intelligence, I’m releasing never-before-seen communications and documents exposing how Dr. Fauci provided millions in US taxpayer dollars to fund dangerous gain-of-function research at the Wuhan lab, worked with politicized elements within the Intelligence Community to suppress the truth about his actions and hide the virus’ lab-leak origins, and lied to Congress while under oath in 2024. It’s time you know the truth. odni.gov/index.php/news…

@ianmiles Do you have to pay separately to see the Mona Lisa or it is it part of the whole museum experience?

I've never before seen a fat French woman. First time for everything. I guess the only fat woman in France has a job to uselessly block people from taking photos of the Mona Lisa.

My wife is going through a tough time now, and I can't leave her for that long. So until she recovers, no movie reviews. I miss doing movie reviews, so as soon as its possible I'll go back.

@NolteNC Mr. Nolte… do you review movies anymore or is it just there no good movies to see? I’m curious your thoughts about Disclosure Day.

It's amazing how fast right wing ideas fold like a potato when challenged by four high IQ women. JD Vance's career is over.

WEEKEND MOVIES… Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977), A+ Still a perfect movie full of wonder and optimism – and two hot moms: Teri Garr and Melinda Dillon. Hour of the Gun (1967), B John Sturges directed two movies about Wyatt Earp. The first was “Gunfight at the O.K. Corral” (1957) starring Kirk Douglas and Burt Lancaster, which I found so boring I barely finished it. Only John Ireland, as Johnny Ringo, gave it life. Dreadful movie. Sturges made up for it ten years later with a sequel of sorts. Whereas “Gunfight” concludes with the classic O.K. Corral gunfight, “Hour” opens with it and then tells the remaining story, which, in real life, is the most interesting part. If you’ve seen “Tombstone,” you know what I mean. “Hour” offers an interesting moral dilemma for James Garner’s Wyatt Earp. He’s a lawman who believes in the law, but the Clanton gang uses the law to murder one of Earp’s brothers, cripple another, and legally hunt down Wyatt with an arrest warrant. He can likely die standing on his principles or turn cold-blooded vigilante. Because it’s James Garner, you expect him to find a clever way to thread that needle. He doesn’t, and because it’s James Garner, you see how doing the right thing costs him a piece of his soul. Man Hunt (1941), B Set in the year before England and Germany went to war, the first of Fritz Lang’s anti-Nazi movies is about a famous English big game hunter (Walter Pidgeon) who decides to hunt Adolf Hitler and almost succeeds when he’s captured by the Germans. Due to a botched execution, he escapes back to England, but the Germans are still after him. Exciting at times, contrived at others, Joan Bennett looks great but is not terribly convincing as a London hooker, but 12-year-old Roddy McDowall is a standout. This was produced and released before Pearl Harbor, when the sentiment towards Germany was neutrality. There was a lot of controversy about it, which seems inconceivable today. The past truly is a different country. The Outsider (1961), B+ It’s been 45 years since I’ve seen this on the Channel 24 Afternoon Movie in the early 80s. I’m not sure it even received a VHS or DVD release. The reason for this probably has to do with the fact that Tony Curtis plays a real-life Pima Indian, in this case, Ira Hayes, who was one of the six Marines in the famous photograph of the raising of the U.S. flag on Iwo Jima. As long as it's respectful, I have no problem with race-swapping or people of one race portraying someone of another race. A black James Bond would not bother me at all, as long as he was cool. Paul Muni was perfect playing a Chinaman in “The Good Earth” (1937). For a movie made in 1961, “The Outsider” is surprisingly faithful to the broad strokes of Hayes’ short and tragic life. After raising the flag, he found himself suddenly famous, which he hated. He took to drink, became a hopeless alcoholic, was arrested some 50 times, suffered from terrible PTSD, and ended up dying at age 33 after he passed out drunk in the cold. The movie depicts all of this, including the Indians’ justifiable resentment towards white society, in an unflinching and ultimately heartbreaking way that overcomes a few moments of melodrama. In real-life, Hayes got drunk during a card game on the reservation, got into a fight, and died somewhere outside. The movie goes for a more symbolic death. Still, Tony Curtis is truly great in the lead role. The empathy you feel for this guy, even at his most self-destructive and immature, never fades because Curtis telegraphs something so haunted and poignant. The movie is beautifully filmed, well-paced, and after 45 years of building it up in my mind, it did not disappoint – which is saying something. It’s a shame this movie has kind of disappeared. I found a Blu-ray on eBay.

My top 5 most hated commercials: 1- Macaulay Culkin's man-hating "Royal Kingdom" game app commercial. 2- John Cena’s white-male-erasing Neutrogena ad. 3- Colonial Penn's "I'm Jonathan Lawson and I'm a real person" commercials. 4- Xtandi: White grandpa has biracial kids. 5- EVERY Liberty Mutual commercial, especially "Bibberty." What are your least favorite TV commercials?
