@hookskat @GOEPhil454 God = The Will of God Three Persons in One Will of God. The Father is The Will of God. The Son is The Word of God. The Holy Spirit is The Spirit of God. All 3 share only ONE “Will of God”. That’s why Jesus said: “Only God is Good”—meaning “All GOOD” come from The Will of God.

I have not been privileged to witness a miracle, so I am expected to believe the claims of those that have. When is it reasonable to believe such a story?

@hookskat @Dmccallist21829 Is “pain” always “bad”? We need “pain” for protection (eg “hot water”). Is there any “good” to “sufferings”? That’s an “opportunity” for us to “love our neighbors”. Is God hidden? To many who see evidence, God already revealed Himself; to others…we’ll all see God eventually.

@hookskat For Humans, the ultimate worst outcome is “Death” For God, “Death” is only a doorway to meet Him…where the ultimate worst outcome is Eternal Separation from God. But only God can decide when we will pass through the “Door of Death”—He forbid humans to make that decision.

If your god sees fit to commit genocide on humans, then how could you say genocide is bad? Lazy human parents have a saying that we know is bad advice, “Do as I say, not as I do”.

SIN cannot enter Heaven, so if NOT to Hell… then MUST be to PURGATORY. At His death, Jesus visited PURGATORY (“Spirits in Prison”).

We were talking about purgatory… now you post something that has nothing to do with it. Jesus told them that they can go out and proclaim that sins are forgiven in the name of Jesus. Not by their own power but the power of the Holy Spirit in them. Believers in Christ have the Holy Spirit. We can all go out and share Christs perfect work and his Grace and tell others that they are forgiven if they believe on Christ. That’s the mission of every believer.

Jesus COMMISSIONED his Apostles to go to ALL nations to represent Him to FORGIVE SINS. He also told them to MAKE DISCIPLES (Priests) to CONTINUE doing what He taught them. (Mt 28:18-20)

We are to live as pure as he lived. That means stay away from sin. You can't cross over then cross back over. We don't know when judgment day will come, so we endure to the end, if we want salvation. The righteous will endure to the end. If you sin everyday then go to prayer in a repentive heart asking only God to forgive you.
