@AnthonyDiComo You guys sound like a bunch of cry baby Yankee fans talking about Pete like they talk about Soto. Pete Alonso is washed up and the guy wanted a ton of money. This is why you guys are social media GM's and not the real deal

@DanClarkSports Yes, he's just ugly. That's not a reason to hate a motherfucker. It's funny, but it's not a reason to hate.

You shouldn't be comparing Brandon Nimmo to Carson Benge. You should be comparing him to Marcus Semien.
Don't tell me the Mets couldn't have shipped Nimmo & $25M to some team to clear the contract. Or kept him to DH. Or 1,000 other things.

@MetCastPod We need a new catcher. Alvarez is a double play machine and always hurt

I cannot stand watching Marcus Semien. I know the guy had a good career, and he's a good person, but he's absolutely cooked. He can't hit and has no range.
And this is with the Mets getting *lucky* that he recovered well enough from his broken foot to still be quick.

Former MLB pitcher Noah Syndergaard is speaking out, saying he has long been a supporter of President Trump. In a recent interview, Syndergaard called meeting Trump for the first time “a dream come true,” adding that he doesn’t understand the criticism Trump receives and believes he “cares so much about everybody.”
