We've submitted comments to @EPA, alongside 21 #EnvironmentalJustice & community groups and individuals, urging the agency to update its emission standards for large municipal waste incinerators to make them as protective to surrounding communities as possible. Read our letter:

Newark is still and currently facing the threat of a 4th fossil fuel power plant for our community as proposed by the Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission. Fossil fuels are a driving force for climate change. We need action now.
