Tim Grady for Governor of Ohio🧢🏴‍☠️🎩

Today our campaign announced proposals for big reforms to the legislature for better government that is more responsive, more representative, and also can think more long-term. This also represents the single largest move to address elite overproduction of any campaign.

In the age of AI where it can write and answer questions and do so many things for us; I think the difference will be in wanting to do things. Wanting to learn, wanting to be good at something, wanting to create. Not for external validation but for ourselves. It's about motivation.

I'm an Independent centrist, not a moderate triangulator. I want to get things done. That's why I'm running for governor of Ohio.

My main pitch for healthcare is walkable living, villages, suburbs, and cities where you can walk wherever you want to go. After that, getting rid of pollution. Sounds like not much but this would save/extend a lot of lives and cut healthcare costs a lot.

The scandal blowing around JobsOhio is about Ohio's relentless culture of corruption. But it also reflects the decay of state capacity in Ohio. Our campaign is committed to rooting out corruption, cutting out the non-profit blob, and building state capacity.

The racism is repulsive but I'm confident that's 90% bots just on this platform. What's really annoying is all the Ohio Democrats I see hyping themselves up about their chances because of how racist they think Ohioans are.

@darreldrowland It's one of those things that is tough to push back on from the Acton campaign because it highlights that she quit 4 months into the pandemic which is itself a bad look. Same as why the Democrats couldn't capitalize on the HB6 scandal in 22, they facilitated it!

Given what passive investing seems to be doing to the stock market's role in price discovery, I don't believe we should ban stock trading by members of Congress. Instead, we should require all their trades to be made public as they are done so the market can price in insider information.

I realize that to do the things I think need to be done for the future of this country, I have to degrade myself in pretty much every way imaginable. I must abandon all shame. I ain't too proud to beg, at least not anymore! I will do WHATEVER it takes to build a movement for a better politics, better policy, and a better future. The rights and norms certain politicians and parties choose to champion at any given time is so nakedly partisan, it can be difficult to join in their defense. Another insidious aspect of our hollow politics.

@AlwaysPositiveJ Status quo bias is strong, lol. Crazy we have the exact optimal number of universities in Ohio. Just thinking how mad all the Ohio establishment Dem commentariat was that Andrew Yang would dare suggest Harvard should pay for a new university in Ohio.
