✍️ Let me say this one more time (even though it won't stop anyone from believing otherwise), after all, "I'm a paid agent". 😉 Just be open minded for me. This period is very difficult for every Chelsea fan. Changing the coach mid-season is always risky. Most of us asked for it, now we are living with the consequences. However, I maintain that this owners don't have bad intentions, execution is what has let them down and that's mostly down to the SDs who make most of these decisions. Of course, it's the owners that hired them, so they can share the blame. But, I personally don't blame people when they make mistakes from good intentions. That's me as a person. This club needed restructuring before they came in. Roman didn't build a sporting structure that would survive FFP and PSR era, legally. I won't go into the club's limitations, but we needed a structure that is financially sustainable and competitive on the pitch. Look at PSG's model. They changed from Roman's kind of model to our current kind of model, the difference is execution and principles. If we had experienced SDs, that won't make too many mistakes, we won't be far from PSG. If we say, Chelsea owners are wrong, then PSG owners are equally wrong. Both sporting structures are very similar. Where we shot ourselves on the foot was not recognising EARLY that without established, stable and experienced players it won't work. We were too stubborn to realise it earlier. However, rebuilding a football club isn't simple, because it's mostly based on the appointments you made, whether they fit in or not. And those appointments bringing in the right players. You can't predict it. And one mistake, could take two years to correct. Example: Monchi was immense at Sevilla in his first spell as Sporting Director, when he went back and Sevilla were struggling, everyone thought, yeah that's the man that knew the club and nothing could go wrong but surprisingly, it went awfully wrong and he left. What I'm trying to say is, every appointment in football carries some percentage of uncertainty, it's never 100/100. So, you have two options: change or make corrections. It seems our owners are taking the second route. I don't see anything wrong in trusting people and fixing mistakes, you could eventually mould an outstanding individual. It's the same with coaches and players but you have to be patient with them. It takes time. At the moment, it seems everyone is learning on the job at Chelsea; the SDs, owners, head coach and players. I believe we aren't far away from our objectives. We made the UCL, won the Conference League and CWC last season, but injuries, lack of preseason rest, which also affected PSG and our inability to make the right decisions in the summer made this season difficult. Maresca leaving was the icing on the sour cake. I expected the chaos if Maresca leaves. It's not that easy to find a tactical balance with a young and inexperienced squad. I don't want to judge Rosenior yet. It's premature. He has made his own mistakes too but he wasn't a bad coach at Strasbourg, the difference is Chelsea is higher level, more scrutinised and more pressure. I will wait and see how he handles this run to the end of the season and how he manages the summer rebuild before passing judgement on him. My point is, if the club is open to tweaking the squad and bringing in more established and stable players from the Premier League, it could be enough to make us a stable team that can fight for titles, because make no mistakes, we still have a good core of top level players. It's not like we are starting from zero. It's okay to be angry, I'm also angry but while it's hard to understand and fathom, I rather hold on to the light. We just made poor decisions this season and if we learn from it, this team will be back up very soon. Like I said before, how we handle this summer will tell me if we are ready to compete or if we'll remain jokers. This summer is MAKE or BREAK‼️
