@wisdomXplorer Life is learning to take joy in it while embracing the suffering. Realizing that by having finality it gives contrast and meaning. Immortality would be boring and without pain pleasure wouldn’t be satisfying. Contrast gives us depth across time.

@brockpierson It’s built in biology, same reason a dog will get jealous over another dog getting food. It’s the part of us that’s not always pretty, but it’s what makes us continually seek to improve.
