@MarcusVPinto I was diagnosed with diabetic amyotrophy a few months ago. I had lost about 30 pounds but over several months and I also manage my A1C. I was told that “tight” management maybe a risk factor. But it was not rapid, I had been carefully managing it for more than a year.

@adamcifu Hello, I was recently diagnosed with diabetic amyotrophy. But one neurologist did not think it was that and others did. It has been so confusing. I was hospitalized and could not walk but with physical therapy have been making great improvements. Very odd disease it seems.

@RobertArmour10 I was recently diagnosed with diabetic amyotrophy. Mine came in extremely fast and left me unable to walk. But just as fast it has been going away and I am walking again. I only had it in the feet. It’s all confusing. Hope you are doing better.

I am tweeting because my very rare autoimmune diseases,diabetic amyotrophy and polymyositis, cause pain all over the place. Tonight it’s both legs. Last night it was the back and neck as welll as the legs. And so it goes.
