tl;dr -- f you are looking at a target or sample with published Gaia RVS spectra (~1 million targets from DR3 with more to come in DR4), I highly recommend you use our tool to characterize your stars! And ofc feel free to dm me with thoughts/questions :)

We also provide tools for visualizing spectra and compute metrics to identify stellar activity, binaries (this was a bit more complicated than we’d hoped), and evolved stars:

We used a data-driven algorithm called the Cannon to train a model on main sequence stars. Our model predicts stellar properties (Teff, logg, metallicity, rotation) with comparable accuracy to ground-based surveys-- but you don't need to apply for telescope time to use it ;)

I have never experienced food poisoning…. Until last night. Words cannot express the misery and sheer pain. I slept on the bathroom floor fading in and out of consciousness to throw up over and over again. I’m still in so much stomach pain today. Advice is appreciated
