Here's one take on what to make of #Meta's earnings last night from @CCSInsight's @LeoGebbie who says the company is *laser focused* on trying to build the #Metaverse.

3/3 This is such an important consumer focus area. @CCSInsight Consumer Connected Radar shows clear evidence that consumers want devices that last longer, that are more energy efficient and can be repaired easily and cheaply.

2/3 Being committing to a more environmentally sustainable approach is positive, but a huge amount of work remains to be done beyond the first tentative steps seen in these new products. Huge scope for further improvements but a step in the right direction #SamsungUnpacked

1/3 Encouraging that Samsung is talking openly about efforts to improve the sustainability of its products. S22 uses discarded nylon fishing nets (turned into polyamide resin pellets) for production of brackets that hold the volume and power keys in place. #SamsungUnpacked
