Re-watched the wonderful noirish melodrama “Deep Valley” (1947) earlier this week. This film deserves a wider audience and the cinematography deserves a pristine presentation. Ida Lupino stars with Dane Clark. Here is Ida with Henry Hull, playing her father.

@pmbryant @TheCMMan Not certain for sure, but Fritz Lang was supposed to direct which is probably why they tied Joan Bennett to it as well. As much as I love both Lang and Bennett, it would have had a totally different feel. It's just so good this way. Sometimes things happen as they should.
