Alternative PC trials - ball travels 5m outside D then non-PC rules apply… 🧐 How about this: Replace PCs with single shoot-outs. Promotes skill, removes danger and keeps all the drama. What’s not to like? @FIH_Hockey @thereversestick @fieldhockeyclub

First shot below backboard(?) so didn’t need to travel 5m out of the D to be a legit goal? 2. Perfect illustration of the difficulty deciding if it travelled >5m outside?! 🧐 - good luck judging that from the baseline… @fhumpires

Proud to announce that following this years @IslanderHockeyT We have donated £283.11 to the Pete Atkins Youth Hockey Foundation. This was raised from entry and kit profits, boosted with dregs of beer kitty money, and we’ve no doubt it will be put to very good use.
