#isles were playing for a point and because of that are leaving with none

Went to #isles hockey games in Cali and learned a few things. #Flytogether fans were respectful, but crowd was quiet. #GoKingsGo fans were jerks to us, but Crypto.com arena was cool, decently loud. #TheFutureIsTeal fans were most welcoming and definitely loudest.

@WillChiarucci I think the problem is the Islanders keep spending first round picks on aging veterans. Would much rather that they used the first round pick for younger guys up and coming rather than guys on the decline. Not sure what this move accomplishes

I think this is a win for the #isles getting Brayden Schenn. I like Cal Ritchie but he’s hit a wall. They need a 2C and they got it. Had Schenn show his Stanley Cup ring to Schaefer and others to motivate them. The picks are what they are. It’s the price of doing business.

@MikeObs029 Well yeah, way more than just him, I'm just saying you can easily include him in a deal like that. He's definitely not untouchable as there are multiple deals I would consider dealing him in for the right price.

@Islanders1932 I get it. Doubt that is all it would take but I really this this kid is a 30 + goal scorer in the NHL.

I know this kid has work to do to get to the pros but to me, he can't be included in any trade unless it is a blockbuster.

@joe_nocera I don't think one game takes away from the whole season. Fact is that he is on pace to have a worse year statistically than he did as a freshman and he wasn't good in the world juniors. I'm hoping he can get his game back, but he's struggled a lot this year. 🤞

I’ll keep saying it. Cole Eiserman has all the skill in the world and just needs to be developed at the NHL level a little bit. He is not as big of a project as everyone makes him out to be! He will be a key piece in the #Isles future
