>>>Trinary Proving Grounds Tournament Concludes with Team BBB’s Victory<<<
The first edition of the Trinary Proving Grounds tournament in EVE Frontier concluded on Sunday with an intense series of battles inside an asteroid belt turned arena within the system of I.EXP.NJ7. Hosted by the Trinary Accord Syndicate and managed by Barbatos and Ergod, the event showcased fast-paced frigate combat featuring the newly implemented occlusion mechanics, focus mode, and the upgraded Destiny physics engine. The competition was broadcasted live by CCP Jötunn and ran for over three hours, drawing a large audience from across the game’s player base.
After a series of qualification matches, the grand finals saw Team BBB—consisting of Barbatos, Bun, and Bendery—claim victory over EHD, securing the championship title. BBB set the tone early with a decisive win over WDJ, whose roster featured Westlypipess, Down, and Jamiwith. Meanwhile, EHD, led by Erosis, Heckfly, and Dwagonlord, took down JNS in the first round, sending them to the loser’s bracket. JNS, made up of Jugger, nikita3003, and Soulblighter, battled back with a victory over WDJ before ultimately securing a third-place finish. A special 2v2 exhibition match between BV (BurntMicrowavedrice and v2048) and HO (HookieBookie and 0xmatities) added even more excitement to the evening, with BV emerging victorious.
Reflecting on the event’s success, organizer Ergod expressed gratitude to the participants and supporters, giving special recognition to CCP Jötunn for live coverage and the behind-the-scenes team that ensured smooth operations. In his closing remarks, Ergod encouraged the Trinary Accord Syndicate to continue fostering high-level competition in EVE Frontier, keeping the Frontier active and engaging.
With momentum from this event, organizers have already begun planning a large-scale 10v10 tournament for next Sunday. This next phase of competition is expected to be even more intense, introducing not just Jauv-class frigates, but also battlecruisers and battleships, expanding the tactical depth of engagements. The excitement continues as EVE Frontier remains in its Free Access period until February 24th, allowing new players to join the fray.
As the dust settles in I.EXP.NJ7, one thing is certain—competitive combat in EVE Frontier is just getting started.
