Is the construction of this retaining wall and the execution of the work technically correct from an engineering perspective, or does it involve errors?








The SSNIT clearance certificate in the contract document signed between Kwame Governs Agbodza, Minister of Roads and Highways, and Build Managers indicate that the company had only one worker when the contract was signed. Build Managers is upgrading the Apegusu- Mpakadan Feeder Road (9km) at GHS 146 million. Cost per kilometer of the feeder road is GHS16 million.




One thing we are all forgetting is that construction is a project-based industry, they only mobilize full teams when active projects demand it. It is financially prudent for such companies to maintain a lean permanent staff, often consisting mainly of directors. More in Thread

Contract amount for Dodo Pepesu- Nkwanta road remains GHS 683 million 𝑫𝒂𝒕𝒂 𝒑𝒖𝒃𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒉𝒆𝒅 𝒃𝒚 𝑴𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝑹𝒐𝒂𝒅𝒔 𝒘𝒆𝒃𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒆: Rehabilitating Dodo Pepesu- Nkwanta road contract costs GHS 804 million. For context, when Dodo Pepesu- Nkwanta road was originally built it cost 25.9 million euros. Rehabilitating it now costs GHS 804 million (63.7 million euros).
