@Kurorealciel2 If hori managed to do one thing right, and it might have been by accident again, is to make katsuki so damn cool lmao. OF COURSE he's the one to call out shindo's bs immediately, without bothering to even pretend he fell for it. "Subtle" ways that show his emotional maturity.

Shindou was a funny case, cuz Hori goes out of his way to show that Katsuki was right about him and Kirishima was too gullible which is a flaw 1-A have but then Hori does nothing with it and repeats it during the Cultural Festival in which Katsuki has to be the mature one again.

@Kurorealciel2 @earthonhell Iirc Shindou also tried something like this? I think Monoma and Shindou were supposed to be characters that showed how 'the competitiveness/need to stand out in the hero industry sometimes makes people do kind of shit things'. But then Hori kinda... shoves that to the side - but!

Bc canon character/ship writing and fanon shipping are two completely different things. I can hate a character in canon, and still change them in fanon to fit my tastes. It's literally that simple. The problem is that kids tend to confuse headcanons with actual canon.

can someone explain the phenomenon of "I love this one ship, but I constantly put one of the characters down" to me? what's the point in hating the other half of your so called "favorite ship"??? such an odd concept to me. "X doesn't deserve Y" then why do you ship it??? 😭

@tenkishidai It's actually insane that this could have been pivotal for dk's arc. If he became unreasonably understanding to criminals, after the shiggy thing, if he'd done smth to help rehabilitate them, or even just study to understand criminals or society... But no just failed aura farming
