We were 8 points from safety with 26 games to go when RE came in. I find it crazy that anyone thinks he's done even an ok job. The man needs to go at the end of the season. #wwfc

@DaleWootton 100% this, time off spent away with agents & families plotting their next move as our fate was inevitable. Even if they like the club (which I believe most do) if u are not fully committed you get found out in prem league pretty sharpish. RE is not the guy either though #wwfc

@Itismesilly Agreed. The break has killed the dressing room. All those players will have had meetings with agents/int colleagues and probably other clubs. They’ve thrown the towel in. He’s held it together for as long as he could.. the last 2 games are on the players as much as him

I am not defending Edwards in anyway but let’s not forget that most of this team will have already engineered moves away from us come the summer so why should we expect anything less than what we are seeing? #wwfc

@Prim1877 pretty sure there is a load of youth team players that would love to play, fact is playing them would be decremental to their careers. I am not defending RE but if u have players who are not fully committed then regardless of your tactics & motivational skills u are doomed.

@awlcraig Not making excuses for any of them (manager or players) & I am certainly not accepting of it, the cold fact is just because we pay their wages doesn’t mean we automatically get 100% commitment, if their heads are 1% somewhere else (which it will be) we get below par performances

I could get behind the #wwfc I saw in first 20mins, didn’t take long for us to resort back to the usual absolute tripe. I was happy as larry the last 3 wknds not having to sit through it. 😡
