⚖️COURT UPDATE⚖️Nicki Minaj is asking a New York judge to DISMISS all claims against her individually in the $275,149.62 lawsuit brought by 24/7 Productions (USA) Inc., arguing the company sued the wrong party. On July 14, 2026, Nicki Minaj and Pink Friday Productions LLC filed multiple responsive pleadings in the New York Supreme Court, including a motion to dismiss the only claim asserted against Minaj personally, a memorandum of law, Pink Friday's verified answer and a request for judicial intervention scheduling the dismissal motion for August 3, 2026. The lawsuit alleges 24/7 Productions is owed $275,149.62 for production services and expenses connected to Nicki Minaj's December 2023 Jingle Ball performances and Pink Friday 2 album launch events. According to the complaint, Pink Friday Productions received invoices totaling that amount after Plaintiff allegedly advanced more than $255,000 in expenses and provided production services, but the invoices allegedly went unpaid. The complaint also alleges Pink Friday received approximately $650,000 from the Jingle Ball performances and that most of those proceeds ultimately passed through to Minaj. Nicki's motion argues she should not be personally liable because she never entered into any contract with 24/7 Productions. According to the filing, any alleged agreement was solely between Plaintiff and Pink Friday Productions LLC, NOT Minaj individually. The motion also argues Plaintiff never alleges Minaj personally requested services, incurred expenses, or agreed to reimburse Plaintiff. Defense counsel further notes that the invoices attached to the complaint were addressed only to Pink Friday Productions LLC, not to Nicki Minaj personally. The memorandum of law argues Plaintiff is improperly trying to hold Minaj personally responsible simply because she is allegedly the sole member of Pink Friday Productions. According to the defense, New York law generally shields members of limited liability companies from personal liability for company debts absent extraordinary circumstances. The filing argues Plaintiff has not pleaded facts sufficient to pierce the corporate veil and has alleged nothing more than an ordinary contract dispute against the LLC. Meanwhile, Pink Friday Productions filed a verified answer denying virtually all substantive allegations of the complaint. The company asserts numerous affirmative defenses, including failure to state a claim, lack of privity, waiver, estoppel, unclean hands, failure to mitigate damages, accord and satisfaction, payment and that any agreements were fully satisfied. Pink Friday also disputes Plaintiff's account-stated claim and denies liability for the alleged unpaid invoices. The next major issue before the court will be whether Nicki Minaj can be dismissed from the case individually, leaving Pink Friday Productions as the remaining defendant.
