Okay after a few hours i kinda get it now, do the hunting log & farm fates for crystals so you can get the Eureka gear. Very grindy and kinda boring sadly.

@Xepahr It's hard to progress Eureka and Bozja alone. As you go through the areas there are little events like fates that give you stuff. I'm not an expert in all that, bc it's really not content you see people playing these days and you can't just use duty finder or anything either

@ItsCastia Yah, i was looking into the Eureka Relics and wanted to at least start with it, they look really cool, but i barely understand how to progress there and idk what you even DO there besides farming mobs.

I just don't understand what i am to do in Euraka. Just mindlessly grind mobs? What a weird mode.

@DireRavennn You didn’t ask, but.. The worst part of ARR is the long stretch of level 23-40 quests. 41-50 should be pretty alright. Pacing improves a lot. And Post-ARR starts slow, but the last 60% is genuinely pretty nice.

@MethIsHellaDope @ThatNamons @Vechs While I'm sure it isn't perfect, and GTA is a great example of it leaving out the rockstar launcher info, it generally will specify which accounts or launchers are required specifically and separately. EA titles look like this, for example. And EA/Ubi are the biggest offenders.

@ThatNamons @Vechs Hate to "Um acktchually" ya, but I have seen games where that either doesn't really mean anything, and quite a few more that need a third party account, but don't need another launcher. So it's not really a 100% way to check.

I honestly believe this is an acceptable reason to negative review bomb a game. You already had one launcher; Steam. With a Steam account. That should be enough.

My dream one day: new expansion drops. People go over to pick up the new msq quests and start it all. Theres red text and they are met by the words “you must complete the hall of the novice for the role specific to your job to accept this quest”

@ItsCastia There are sites that actually have that Information! Basically when you clear a fight, that Information is public & updated to the actual ff14 website which the sites take the numbers from!

For those that don't know, only about 10% - 20% of xiv players actually complete a savage tier on content. Meaning just being able to actually clear, regardless of your numbers on fflogs, puts you at above average. Some people really need their egos checked.

@xIlyria Especially since I know a lot of folk do not do raid content and focus on alternative endgame grinds, since there are so many different types of xiv players. If you told me only 10% of all players even *tried* I would believe it. And idk how you'd even find total player mumbers

@xIlyria Oh ofc, I was just curious if the "total" was specifically the total that attempt, since I for instance, have never attempted a savage on content. I honestly assumed only ~10% or maybe even less attempted raid content, and even less probably completed
