my team spent 432 hours comparing Hyperliquid's oil market against CME WTI futures. the liquidity gap is obvious and expected. CME has been trading oil for decades, HL for weeks. what matters is how quickly HL is catching up. weekend slippage on $1M orders went from 160bps to 21bps in just three weeks. that's an 87% drop. weekend volume jumped from $31M to over $1B. and by the third weekend, HL was already front-running CME's Monday open. no one's saying HL replaces CME. but a 24/7 oil market that's getting better this fast?????
