I don’t know how to get actual transsexuals to wake up and realize if we don’t return to a medial and legal definition of transsexual that excludes dangerous, fetishistic men, we are going to lose everything. Most normal women don’t consider trans women the precise same thing they are and biology matters deeply to them, but they’re happy to include trans women that are socialized and non-disruptive. Here is the compromise normal people will happily accept. Return to the old school medical safeguarding that worked for decades, and stop allowing people to self-ID into legal womanhood. Put stakes with clinician’s licenses in diagnosing these cases correctly, and stop being overly affirming. And allow private insurance to cover medical treatment when it’s actually medically necessary. This is going to weed out the bad actors, stop medicalizing people that don’t need these powerful cross sex hormones, and give rare actual trans women a path to lives with dignity.

A few small examples, but hundreds of those little things in day to day life do make a difference. They impact how people live their lives. Culture is not just an abstract, it’s the concrete ways that people have to live their lives in a built environment. The culture impacts the choices people make in building their societies, and the way societies are built impact the culture and choices people make. I think these small things do matter, just as how spelling “colour” instead of “color” matters.

Australia and New Zealand are truly blessed to be far from the rest of the world. They have been able to carve out unique English-speaking societies largely free from the direct influence of the United States. Canada needs to be more vigilant due to our geography.
