@darlingstrawbie This is the kinda church i grew up in. from my experience, theyre very warm and welcoming! i'd recommend anyone new to the faith and new to going to church to try one out, because i feel like it'd be a little less intimidating, while still getting the right messages!

I’m starting to read the Bible and I’m using Erika Kirk’s app to read it in a year. I want to use an actual Bible, too.
The only Bible I have is a KJV.
Bible readers, what is an easier version to read, but one that still feels…..sacred, I guess?

@xSynternal oh, and even better if there are people of all kinds of backgrounds there! people with crazy backstories, but are still accepted in that church is a huge green flag imo

@xSynternal Find one thats unashamed of the gospel, and unafraid to teach what the bible says! If they receive a bit of flack for that from people in the local area, theyre probably doing something right.
