@fubouma @GemeenteUtrecht Je staat zeker ook vooraan om te vloeken op de gemeente als er een keer in massapaniek mensen doodgedrukt worden? De beperkingen op drukte zijn er niet voor niets. Het is overigens ook gewoon veel drukker. Veel meer instroom van buiten de stad. En mensen feesten grager.

Het is te druk op meerdere evenementen en routes in onze binnenstad en toegang tot de pleinen is niet meer mogelijk. Kom daarom niet meer naar de stad #koningsdaginutrecht

@Pengwin4rd @Oswald1160 Some formula involving distance, time, stops, initial cost, track congestion, track expenses. Etc. At least in the Netherlands the price calculation has always been hidden, you just ask the machine the price from A to B and it gives one. Nobody cares how it got to that price.

At one stage in my career I found myself looking at zonal fares for Kent. You either had so many zones practically every station had its own (defeating the object) or had so many easements/exceptions to avoid cliff-edge price changes at boundaries that too defeated the object.

@ryanzip @MarkRober I was looking through the doc. I think it’s very cool, just wondering why a robot has to “see” every piece before starting but a human can build with incomplete knowledge

I spent the last 15 months solving an all-white 1000-piece puzzle with @MarkRober using a custom-built robot, and beat the jigsaw world record holder in a head-to-head race

@seatsixtyone It seems Stockholm-Narvik trains after the 18th of june are direct again, and bookable, so I wouldn't worry too much about that. But there's some bad reviews about people being left in the cold during breakdowns recently.

@heirsjournal But I think what has more impact, is that money gives power, or often comes with power. The causation going either which way. And that can often affect how someone acts even more. It releases restrictions someone had. Makes them care less about others, as there's less need.

I can't decide if I like these or not. They solve the solution of cables on the pavement but by making drivers feel even more entitled to the space outside a house and if they have to park a couple of spaces over they can't charge the car or have to run an extension cord anyway.
