@Rooster832 @carygolomb @CachyOS It's much better nowadays. It should also outperform Ubuntu since recent hardware get updates quicker on arch based distros. May be give it another shot and see by yourself.

@carygolomb @CachyOS Yeah I tried it a few months back but it wasn't good enough for me. Oddly enough I had better luck with Ubuntu but still had other issues. Seems like one distro would fix one issue but cause another one 😂

The latest version of @CachyOS is truly fantastic.
This is CachyOS-Proton11 with FSR4.1 dll injected so every fsr3.1 game will automatically choose FSR4
There is ONE critical change that people always forget though. Below is 17w HX370 on both. But ~20% better perf

J’hésite à désinstaller Windows de mon PC fixe pour y mettre une distribution Linux. Il ne me sert qu’à jouer et je ne joue plus à des jeux en ligne.
Vous conseillez quoi ? SteamOS ? Bazzite ? Ou juste un Arch Linux et j’installe moi-même Proton/les paquets dont j’ai besoin ? Autre ?
Je joue surtout à la manette donc le mode console n'est pas gênant et j’ai un CPU AMD (9800X3D) et un GPU AMD (9070 XT).
Pour du 4K. Si possible aussi du ray tracing, mais je n’ai jamais activé l’option en jeu et j’ai entendu dire que ça ne marchait pas bien sous Linux.

@unknownrocma @Cramaxcramax Perso depuis un an sur CachyOS et je retourne plus à Windows. L'écosystème Linux s'est nettement amélioré ces dernières années. Je dirais que les seuls avantages de Windows aujourd'hui ce st les logiciels exclusifs comme les suites Adobe et Microsoft et les jeux sous anticheat.
