I don't know if you've noticed, but in the last few years our tools have become more useful and less complicated. I definitely feel like there's a lot of room for improvement, but that's happening and I'm really happy with the trend :)

Stop using Redux, use... Context API - small apps/infrequent updates RecoilJS - for better performance and bigger apps Apollo - when data is mostly remote (graphql API)
