I used to be that average guru on X.
I couldn't impact.
I couldn't sell.
I couldn't lead.
Why?
Because I had an average positionning.
Let me show you the strategy I used to remake it (in 5 steps):
1) Nail your brand ideas
Most creators struggle with this.
They have one big idea - cool.
But then?
They stop there and complain about results.
You need to go the extra mile.
The Big Idea is the start.
You need brand ideas to level up.
Mine are:
Sustainability - I believe sustainability is the most important metric, I optimize for it.
Simplicity - I keep it simple. No guru BS.
Exploration - I want to show people it's possible to build a business from our curiosity.
Spread them like the plague.
2) Build that fishing line from the start
There’s something you should be doing from the start - Build that relationship with your ICP.
Even though you can’t monetize yet - prepare for it.
Start solving real problems.
Showcase specific perspectives.
Cut through the competition’s noise.
That way you’ll build trust with your expertise.
Optimize for sustainability.
3) Negative beliefs
The idea is simple.
To raise your ideas - break others down.
If you believe in exploration.
Break down the hustle culture.
It's another way of positioning yourself.
4) Find your brand enemy
Make your ideas the opposite of it.
(I'm still experimenting with this - so don't take everything I'm gonna say for granted).
I’m not telling you to trash-talk another creator.
Rather an ideal like growth gurus or ghostwriters.
That way people will value your ideas more because they are directly compared to the competition.
5) Cut the noise
You’ll see better creators than you.
They’ll tell you to do this - don’t.
They’ll tell you to do that - don’t.
If you can learn from them, fine.
But don’t fall into the trap of the shiny object.
Because their success doesn’t mean it’s a free-money path.
Stick to yours.
That’s how we spot sheep among leaders.

@TheOvermanEthos A following can be bought but doesn't give back
But an audience is built as a long-term gain

𝕏 is full of garbage.
Same trash different pile.
(This is the opportunity of a lifetime:)
The 𝕏 ecosystem is filled with garbage.
AI comments under every post. Sh*tty cold DMS in every inbox. Stolen content across the timeline.
Trash has never been easier to share.
Some people complain.
They roll their eyes. Whine to their friends about how "saturated" everything is, and make excuses for their own incompetence.
Thus ignoring the opportunity common trash represents.
It has never been easier to stand out.
⟡ One great post is suddenly a beacon.
Beckoning others to your brand for a promise of more.
⟡ One beautiful DM is a magnet.
Drawing in leads, friendships, and opportunities.
⟡ One great comment is suddenly a mirror.
Reflecting light, gathering attention in the glint of the sun.
How do I know this? Because I have PROVEN it to be true.
⟡ One valuable post led to 100k impressions 1.1k likes and 1k comments.
⟡ One unique cold DM led to meeting Sahil Bloom for Coffee
⟡ One great comment led to the first client I ever signed.
I am not saying this to brag.
The work is far, far, far from done.
But I am outlining an opportunity.
(One you may not have taken advantage of yet.)
It has never been easier to stand out.
----
If you read this, it means you are in my audience and therefore do not fall into the "garbage" category.
You are gold.
So if you hate sh*tty cold DMs, do us all a favour and Repost this tweet.
;) Thank you, (from everyone)
