@TimHoustonNS An unsurprising cheap shot from you to do this publicly against a school that was looking out for their kids—as they should.

In demanding that veterans and members of the Canadian Armed Forces not wear their uniforms while observing Remembrance Day, the leaders at this school are disgracing themselves while demeaning the people who protect our country. Remembrance Day is a day on which we honour those who serve and remember those who have sacrificed so much to keep us safe. Our veterans were never ashamed to wear their uniforms while protecting Canada and they should never be made to feel ashamed to wear their uniforms today.  If the people behind this decision had a shred of the courage that our veterans have, this cowardly and insulting idea would have been rejected immediately. In the Nova Scotia and Canada I know, our veterans will never be asked to hide who they are. Saying Lest We Forget is a solemn promise to the fallen, our veterans and those who continue to serve that we will pass our respect and gratitude to the next generation.  The decision makers at Sackville Heights Elementary School have forgotten this sacred obligation.

@Girrl_Friday Sadly the new tenants often pay a lot more after the landlord slaps on a new coat of paint. It should be illegal, this is an easy fix if you’re not in the pocket of landlords/developers.

@Girrl_Friday Value village maybe? I hate that place but I got a lot of baby clothes there back in the day. I needed the same size years ago and Sears (RIP) was the only place to get them.

Our building has a 20% occupancy rate. So the landlord is offering $400 for referrals. You could just drop rent to something people can afford, because $1,700 for a one bedroom isn't the answer.

@ItsMeDanielleB ABSOLUTELY NOT. 😂 I mean, if you ENJOY folding the world’s smallest pieces of paper into different shapes and gluing them to wires, and rolling cardboard into little pots, you’d love it. I will say I loved putting together the furniture bits n pieces. If there was a library?

Maybe the single most important (read: infuriating, complicated, tedious, frustrating) thing I’ve ever made. MY GREENHOUSE IS FINISHED. (Still sitting on a mat to finish drying before I move it to its new home, which is TBD. Lol)

@ItsMeDanielleB but in your building the alarm actually turns off when it's done. In this building...not so much. If the "actual alarm and flashing lights" is Level 10, the alarm is currently on Level 1 or 0.5 with no flashing lights. But it's still going. Will be until at least tomorrow.
