This is the point we need to get clearly Yes, the war has hiked the fuel prices globally Yes it’s all over the world However the Kenyan govt continues to tax kenyans too highly. And it is not just fuel, it’s basic needs too. Things that Kenyans desperately need to keep their homes running. It is the case with electricity. Literally a third of your electricity bill goes into “other charges” And what do we have to show for it as a nation? Where does all that money go? Their pockets. And then they later give us handouts from our own taxes. To be a Kenyan is difficult! Today was meant to be iceman day but I totally forgot you truly aren’t allowed to be excited in the conditions we live in as Kenyans.
