What interests me more than the game itself is the tech;
A non OOP language that's basically C and a lightweight renderer is exactly the kind of thing I need, and the plan's to make it available after the game comes out.

@ItsNotPaths @BigBoris_2 Its a real hassle with little to no reward, even if you start your a treatment when the baby is born they will outgrow the lactation stage by the time they built their microbiome; nowadays there are dairy free versions of everything so its really easier for everyone.

@Nzrn33 @BigBoris_2 Lactose intolerance can be handled and 9/10 times cured. Its just very difficult when a child is so young. Most people just settle and don't go through the effort of cultivating a healthy microbiome in their child

@BigBoris_2 Its so crazy that so many people have so little experience around newborns that they dont know how common it is for a baby to be lactose intolerant and that they can die from diarrhea or constipation.

today's lesson is the human eye is more sensitive to wavelengths around 520-560nm which is why most photosensor elements are also designed to detect wavelengths in that frequency range

"Choosing the right tool for the job" is such a terrible thought-terminating cliché.
It basically just means either "choose whatever I'm familiar with" or "choose whatever won't get my managers upset with me for doing something weird and boat-rocking", or usually both.

Rust isn’t the right tool for every job, or even most jobs. Rust is cool, it has some good language designs, but Ive long hopped off the “rewrite it in rust” meme. You dont choose a tool because its popular, you choose the right tool for the job.
