The worst thing that can happen with the upgrade is that you might not see your balance in your wallet if the new contract address isn't supported. Remember to manually add the new token contract address to your Metamask or other Ethereum wallet if you're able to. We're reaching out to other providers to get them to add the new token to their UIs. Your tokens are still there, you might just not see them! Remember, you can view your new balance at gateway.stronghold.co/upgrade - if it shows in the 'Upgraded SHx' balance, you're good!

@DrMcWatsonDr @strongholdpay trezor.io/learn/supporte… theres something about custom tokens down the bottom. You need to add by contract address (eventually they should show up but that could take some time). Get the contract address from gateway.stronghold.co and please ignore any other replies/DMs!

@ItsSeanBennett Sean, this doesn't seem to have reached Tresor yet. Currently I cant see my ech SHX tokens on my tresor. Is this going to be automatically remedied, or do I have to do something to fix this problem?

Just asking them to update to the new ERC20 contract address. On Ethereum + CoinGecko you can see a banner at the top confirming the upgrade and that the contract address has been changed. For apps/dapps that pull from either of these data sources searching SHX will now bring up the new token (often under the original one, unfortunately) and fill in things like logos, names, links, prices, etc.

@ItsSeanBennett @tiitus_me Could you share some details of what's happening behind the scenes with Etherscan/CoinGecko while bridging? I am curious about the process.

Seeing a number of X accounts (often ones that have existed for years) being altered to impersonate Stronghold team members and messaging folks who have questions about the upgrade. Please do not reply/DM anyone claiming to be from Stronghold or a wallet you use. Instead, ignore their instructions/links and find instructions/links directly from our/your wallet's official site (or from in the wallet is ideal!). To the wider community: requesting that if you see these, please report!

You should be able to swap directly to the new token if you’d like, although we still recommend the upgrade. We added uniswap liquidity between the old and new token so swapping is as painless as possible. Ignore & report, please, that fake Hazen account replying to your comment also.

@ItsSeanBennett @strongholdpay @TammyCamp just a quick question because i know you guys are awesomely busy so below is the new contract which i found on gateway.stronghold.co/upgrade so do you think it's ok if i simply swap my SHX-erc20 into Eth and then just add this contract in my trust wallet or uniswap or any platform we have our shx-erc20 and then swap the Eth back to our shx -erc20 address which uses this new contract address below ? it will cost a lil fees but i see no big deal with it unless the upgrade must involve the tokens on the previous address? asking for a friend #StrongholdFamily #ShxUpgrade 0x516d31321928700C6B4fB0DB0c8c6BC5d6799787
