@ItsShaonlee airtel has had a monopoly which has been only been since challenged a little by jio but there has been zero changes to structure, they’ll always make it a point to hound you for a new connection. The technical “team” is usually one person responsible for an entire area.

Shifting a broadband connection with @airtelindia is like fighting the many-headed hydra. My dad asked for a shift to our nice new place on the 2nd, and merrily went our way. What followed is a lesson in incentive structures, institutions, and monopolies.

My mom works from home, and I work from home. My phone hotspot can take only so much. It's frying. The temperature is close to 40 degrees, and I might need to talk to GS5 at some point today. Wish us luck. Maybe we need to speak to all nine to get through?

I give him a run-down of the situation. I am sad, and frustrated. He looks like he's not ready for this story. He tells me to threaten @airtelindia with disconnection. They might get going. He does not consider -- @airtelindia is a local monopolist (also his employer).
