Ok it's rant time...I'm going to keep it a buck... This fighting game casino bullshit has got to stop. Let's stop acting like 50/50 situations didn't exist in older games. I don't care how much you claim "its easier now to do said thing", it existed before and its STILL here now REGARDLESS. Mixups such as shimmy, meaties, projectile oki, air dash mixups, command jump mixups, empty jump lows, hell for the sake of, neutral skips of all kinds as well (I don't care how easy or not it was it was there btw). All of these are ALL STILL PRESENT in today's fighting games! It's almost as if people's rose tints on the older games are way too shiny. EVERYONE has access to these things and the reality is the average player is way stronger than they were a decade ago thanks to content creators and social media. We have to embrace the fact that we're getting greater comp due to this. Constant complaining "oh its too easy and you can get randomed out!" Because someone new rocked your shit? Get better you have that as an option. Or "oh the game's design is so bad" in comparison to what? The way they made games back then with next to no updates? Having to "fight the good fight back in my day with my weak character?" When Chipp sucked I had next to no choice and switched characters until the NEXT VERSION OF THE GUILTY GEAR! There was no patch, gotta swap to stay competitive and I even then STILL played him through the tough times. Bless my soul lol. At the very least today as I said, a player can wait for a patch to put them back in the game with their favorite character or tone down things they don't like about the game. That's held true across the board for literally EVERY OTHER COMPETITIVE ESPORTS GAMES SINCE COUNTER STRIKE! Patch work exists now... This is common place now and is the status quo of our current generation. We CAN get things patched and adjusted. HOWEVER I cannot condone patching to suit the needs of a single demographic and that being the 0.1% of competitive players. Even though there is some merit of shaping the game's meta in this regard, guess what? PRO PLAYERS CAN BE WRONG! Remember Luke wasn't that good in beta right? Top tier. Juri not that good? Wins Capcom Cup 2023. Ed wasn't that good either? Top 1 now. Akuma is unstable? Best in game depending on who you talk to. But WHY are they good? Do they do the casino bit better? No, the reality is the player base got better and pushed what those characters can do. Like its getting out of hand with this constant talk about guessing as if strike/throw is the most broken and insane mixup in existence. KoF13, shimmy into HD might be a dead character, or even a frame trap into HD could be the same if you have the resources available. SF4 if Yun had 3 bars you best believe that asshole is going to Red Focus and stun the shit out of your character, you can forget Genei-Jin like c'mon lol. It's actually getting pretty toxic these days across social media. I will tell you now that its totally ok to give your feedback on said games. But at LEAST try to be constructive instead of singing this casino nonsense...and for the love of all that's good in this world...THINK FOR YOURSELF AND COME UP WITH YOUR OWN CONCLUSIONS! You can see and think for yourself too ya know! /end rant

this prize split is not so good imo

I sat down to play casuals with Du, when I went to plug my USB… I found out that the blue part in Ps5 ports melted onto my arcade stick’s USB and I couldn’t plug it in anymore Had to remove it manually, you need something thin to be able to remove it
